On the 18th of July 2024, the world came together to celebrate Mandela Day—a day dedicated to honouring Nelson Mandela’s legacy by taking action to make the world a better place. This year’s theme, “Combating poverty and inequality is in our hands,” resonates deeply with our mission at ChildSafe South Africa.
Kids get more than a mile
The B-Logic team visited ChildSafe South Africa, bringing with them educational materials, toys, clothing, and toiletries for children. These essential items were distributed to children at the Red Cross Child Protection Unit. The balance of clothing and toiletries will be handed over to the Children’s Hospital Trust, supporting the Red Cross War Memorial Hospital in providing hygiene packs for patients.
ChildSafe Spokesperson and Executive Director, Zaitoon Rabaney, emphasized, “Our work would not be possible without the generous support of our donors. Thank you, B-Logic team, for being a beacon of hope and compassion.” We are immensely grateful for the support.
Meanwhile, B-Logic said it understands that corporate citizenship goes beyond business and making a real difference in people’s lives. Their commitment to social responsibility led them to partner with ChildSafe for Mandela Day. Managing Director, Marc Moolman, expressed their dedication to child safety and community impact. He said, “ChildSafe’s ongoing efforts align closely with our principles of corporate citizenship. We are honoured to contribute to ChildSafe’s mission and support their tireless work in safeguarding vulnerable children.”
