Nashira brings a wealth of experience and a profound commitment to social justice, labour law, and conflict resolution. Currently, she serves as the Ombud at the University of Cape Town.

She is renowned for her exceptional ability to bring humanity to the workplace, with exquisite attention and regard for every individual. With ten years as a commissioner with the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration, and an additional eight years practicing expert labour law, dispute resolution, and social justice in conflict-ridden contexts. Nashira excels in igniting resolutions considering all perspectives with diplomacy and utmost respect for human dignity. Her extensive background in HR and Labour Relations will be instrumental in providing strategic direction on all matters related to human resources and organisational culture at ChildSafe, fostering and maintaining a high-performance workforce within the organisation.
